Setting up C6
Hey y'all, I just purchased my first double neck and I have a question about setting up the C6 neck. It's a Dekley and I'm super excited about it. I am currently trying to figure out how to best use the pedals and knee levers.
Any help or direction would be appreciated, I'm not really sure what is useful on this neck yet.
I've looked at other copedants to see what might be useful but I still have questions.
P4 raises the A to a B, and P6 lowers the E to an Eb. Based on other's copedants this seems standard, but the rest of the pedals I am having trouble with.
Here's a rundown
P5 raises string 1, 3, and 10. I am thinking that the 1st string should raise to a D# and the 10th string should raise to a D. I am not sure what to do with the 3rd string, maybe another C to D change?
P7 raises the G to a G# but so does my RKR, my only knee lever. Having two mechanisms that only change that one G to a G# seems redundant. I am wondering which one, pedal or knee lever, would be the best one to change?
P8 lowers my 9th string, F to E, and my 10th string, C to A.
This setup doesn't really look like the other setups I am seeing online, I'm wondering how I can make the most of it
Any advice would be amazing!
Thanks

Re: Setting up C6
It doesn't get any more basic than Jimmy Day's C6 setup. You can spend a lifetime making music with this.
If you want a D on top instead of the G, that's fine too.

Re: Setting up C6
pedal 4 raising the As to B is not a change I find myself using all that much. I’ve got it on a lever and raise my Es to F on pedal 4 instead. this is also a change that Buddy Emmons used on some of his guitars and one I HIGHLY recommend. it’s worth noting that Buddy didn’t include the standard pedal 4 in his Basic C6 course.
pedal 5 should raise 10 and 9 a whole and half step respectively and lower string 5 a half step.
pedal 6 should lower string 6 a half and also raise string 2 a half.
if you’ve got 4 levers the most standard changes are lowering string 3 a half step, raising both Cs a half step (excluding string 10), raising both As a half step and lowering the A on string 4 a half step
