D6 tuning

Post by John Clark »

I’ve been playing a scaled down ten string version of the D6 tuning Johnny Cox came up with. Six pedals and five knees. Just wondering how many have tried it.

I don’t mean ten string. I just mean the d6 tuning in general. I think I’m gonna like it.

Sorry. That’s what I was referring to. I’m calling it D6 because with ten strings it’s pretty much C6 but tuned up to D I think Bobby Lee used something like it. Doesn’t really accomplish much other than making me think again instead of running on auto pilot.
