late 40’s Fender Dual Pro badge?
Hey! Wondering if anyone knows a source for a repro (or an original) Fender Dual Pro badge (the one that sits between the necks and says “Fender Fullerton California”)? Or someone who could make me one? Thanks! Pete

Perfect! Thank you. Found a match and the correct color.
OK - I am also looking for a repro water-transfer decal for the front of the guitar (the larger size spaghetti logo).
Did some digging earlier, but no luck. Anyone know a source for these?? Thanks! Pete

The late 40s and very early 50s Fender steel guitars did not have a logo on the front. Unless your late 40s Dual Pro was refinished, I would advise against adding a decal, to keep your instrument in original condition.

Thanks, Tim, I didn't know that. One less thing to worry about.
To answer the other question, I’m working on a mongrel Dual Pro that I picked up which has been painted with what looks to be red house paint. The body, from what I understand, is late 40’s and the various parts have been pieced together over the years. The pickups sound great. It’s a walnut body, so I’m going to have a friend with a spray booth strip it and refinish it with an appropriate clear lacquer. Excited to get it looking closer to “original”.
