Fun fact: The swivel top of a Bigsby Volume/Tone pedal is also a cast part found on a Crocker and also the Bigsby motorcycles.

What make of steel was it?
Hi All,
I know I'm late to join this conversation, but in several of the posts, a Bigsby steel is mentioned. I may have missed it, but I don't think that the make was mentioned, only it came in a box with a steel purchase. If the make is known, perhaps that would help, or is the make is unknown?

Whazzit?
My sense is it got thrown into a wrong parts box. It LOOKS pedal steel, but is more likely made to repair/replace a broken-off motorcycle (toe end) foot lever shifter.
Nicely fashioned.. even has a roll pin hole at one end as a stay. IMHO
Alas -that cap screw, more specifically is a hex-drive capscrew, as found in multiples on Emmons PP changer ends, oh.. several decades along now.
So, now the puzzler becomes: which side of the motorcycle was it meant for? And which end of shifter bracket, toe or heel?
